The collaboration between Slam Jam and nss sports offers a satirical take on the current state of Italian football. The graphics featured on the jersey reference, with irony, both Italy's twelve-year absence from the FIFA World Cup and the twentieth anniversary of July 6, 2006, the day the Italian national team won the fourth—and, to date, most recent—World Cup title in its history.
